Why RentRedi exists
It started with a frustrating apartment search. RentRedi co-founder Ryan Barone kept running into the same wall: pulling together the paperwork landlords wanted took far longer than it should have.
The more he talked to other renters and landlords, the clearer it became that this wasn't a one-off problem. Both sides of the rental relationship were dealing with the same friction, just from opposite ends. So he set out to fix it, starting with a simple app.
That app became RentRedi, a platform built for independent landlords who want to run their rentals like a real business without turning into a faceless corporation. Rent collection, tenant screening, maintenance requests, lease signing: it all lives in one place, so landlords can stay on top of things and tenants get a smoother experience.
In 2023, eRentPayment joined RentRedi. Bringing the two companies together meant landlords and tenants got a wider set of payment and credit-reporting tools without having to piece together separate systems, and it's the foundation of the platform still running today.
RentRedi now supports close to 200,000 landlords and renters, from first-time property owners to people managing growing portfolios.
Our goal hasn't changed: help real people feel organized, professional, and financially secure in the rental process.
